This page sets out, item by item, what the "Jigendentaku" app (the "App") collects, how it is collected, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights. For the general policy, see the Privacy Policy. Where the two differ, this page prevails.
1. What the App Collects
1-1. Information collected by the Pangle SDK for ad delivery
- Data: Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, advertising ID on Android), an identifier assigned by Pangle (user ID), IP address and the approximate location inferred from it (country, region or city level), device information (model, OS version, language and similar), ad interactions such as views and taps and app usage, SDK diagnostics (crashes, performance), and other data collected by the Pangle SDK for ad delivery
- How: Read from the operating system and network by the Pangle SDK embedded in the App. On iOS the IDFA is read only if you choose "Allow" in the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. On Android the advertising ID is read through Google Play services
- Purpose: Serving and displaying banner ads, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and ad personalization (only if you chose "Allow" in 1-2)
- Recipient: Pangle (an advertising platform operated by ByteDance). Pangle may share it with advertising partners that bid for the ad
- Preconditions: The Pangle SDK does not start, and nothing is collected or requested, until you have answered the ad settings question in 1-2. If you have bought "Remove ads", the Pangle SDK is never started
- Storage and retention: We do not store it. Pangle's retention is governed by the Pangle End User Data Privacy Policy
Under the GDPR an advertising identifier is an online identifier and therefore personal data. Under Japan's APPI it is treated as "personal-related information" rather than personal information on its own. The App handles it the same way in every jurisdiction.
1-2. Ad settings (whether ads may be personalized)
- Data: Whether personalized ads are allowed (Allow / Don't allow / not answered). On iOS, also the ATT authorization status
- How: Your choice on the "About ads" screen the App shows on first launch, before any ad SDK is started (you can change it at any time from "Ad settings" in Settings). The ATT status is read from the operating system API
- Purpose: Controlling ad delivery according to your choice. The choice is passed to the Pangle SDK as personalized-ads consent (PA consent); with "Don't allow", only non-personalized ads are served
- Recipient: Only the yes/no consent signal is passed to the Pangle SDK
- Storage and retention: On your device only (saved as
ad_consentin the App's settings storage). It is never sent to us and is erased when you delete the App. You can change it at any time from "Ad settings" in the App's Settings screen
1-3. In-app purchase state (Remove ads)
- Data: A boolean indicating whether the store account on the device owns product ID
com.fujibit.jigendentaku.removeads - How: StoreKit 2 entitlements on iOS, Google Play Billing purchase records on Android
- Purpose: Hiding ads for purchasers (and, for them, skipping the ad settings question, the ATT prompt and the Pangle SDK entirely), and restoring the purchase on a new device
- Recipient: None. We only read it from Apple / Google
- Storage and retention: So that ads can be hidden right from launch, the App caches this boolean on your device (in the App's settings storage). The cache is never sent anywhere, including to us, and is erased when you delete the App. Never transmitted to or stored on our servers — we operate no server for this app. The purchase record itself is held against your Apple / Google account
Payment details such as card numbers, names, and addresses are processed by Apple and Google. We never receive them.
1-4. Crash and diagnostic data
- Data: Anonymized crash logs, device model, OS version, app version
- How: Standard App Store Connect / Google Play Console reporting, and only if you have allowed sharing in your OS settings
- Purpose: Diagnosing defects and improving quality
- Storage and retention: In Apple's and Google's consoles, for the periods those companies define
1-5. Information you send us
- Data: Your email address, the content of your message, and optionally the device details, purchase date, or receipt you choose to include
- How: Email you send to support@fujibit.com
- Purpose: Answering your enquiry and fixing defects
- Recipient: None
- Retention: Deleted approximately one year after the enquiry is resolved
2. What the App Does Not Collect
- Name, postal address, phone number, date of birth
- Location from GPS or similar services (the App does not request location permission; apart from the approximate region inferred from the IP address in 1-1)
- Contacts, calendar, photos, or files
- Camera or microphone input
- The numbers, units, and results you enter into the calculator — all of it is processed on-device and never transmitted
- Account credentials; the App has no sign-in
3. Sharing, Processors, and International Transfers
- The information described in 1-1 is sent to Pangle through the Pangle SDK for ad delivery. It is not sold or used for list-brokering of any kind
- Pangle's servers are located outside Japan, so this data is transferred internationally. For how it is handled there and the safeguards Pangle applies, see the Pangle End User Data Privacy Policy
- We do not provide, sell, or share your information with any other third party
- We disclose nothing voluntarily; only a legally binding request could compel disclosure
4. Your Choices and Opt-Outs
- Stop personalized ads: Choose "Don't allow" in "Ad settings" in the App's Settings screen. You still see ads, but they are not personalized. You can change this at any time and it applies immediately
- Opt out of tracking on iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, then turn the App off; the IDFA is then not sent
- Reset or delete your Android advertising ID: Under "Ads" in the device's Settings app (depending on the device it is under "Privacy" or "Google"), reset or delete the ID, or turn off personalized ads
- Remove ads entirely: The one-time "Remove ads" purchase (¥150) stops banner ads from being shown, and because the Pangle SDK is then never started, nothing is collected for advertising
- Stop everything: Delete the App. The ad settings choice stored on the device is erased with it
Declining personalized ads or tracking does not restrict the App: every calculation feature stays free, and ads are simply served non-personalized.
5. Access, Correction, Restriction, and Deletion Requests
Email support@fujibit.com with your request and enough detail to identify the records (the email address you contacted us from and, where relevant, the purchase date or store receipt number). Once we have verified the request comes from you, we will respond within two weeks as a rule, free of charge.
We cannot disclose or delete the advertising identifier or any other data Pangle has collected, because we do not hold it. Requests to Pangle can be made through the contact given in the Pangle End User Data Privacy Policy.
6. Jurisdiction-Specific Notes
- EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR, UK GDPR): The legal basis for processing for ad personalization is your consent, obtained on the "About ads" screen the App shows on first launch (you can change it at any time from "Ad settings" in Settings). You may withdraw consent at any time from "Ad settings" and may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (for data Pangle holds, through Pangle's contact)
- California (CCPA / CPRA): We do not "sell" personal information for monetary consideration. "Sharing" of identifiers for targeted advertising can be opted out of by choosing "Don't allow" in the App's "Ad settings" and through your OS settings (Tracking on iOS, the advertising ID on Android)
- Japan (APPI): The advertising identifier is treated as personal-related information; where a third party is expected to receive it as personal data, we obtain consent in advance
- Children: The App can be used by people of all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and collects no age information. Parents can turn off ad personalization using the options in section 4
7. Security Measures
- All calculation and input data stays on the device and is never transmitted
- We operate no server storing user data, so there is structurally no user data for us to leak
- Outbound traffic is limited to ad delivery (Pangle) and store billing (Apple / Google), all over HTTPS
- Support email is handled in an environment where access is restricted to the responsible personnel
8. Changes to This Page
If what we collect or who receives it changes, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date. Changes that materially affect your rights will be announced alongside an app update.
